Bemenet Abebe was born in Ethiopia, specifically in the vibrant capital city of Addis Abeba. She thrived in her hometown for the first 17 years, surrounded by rich culture and warm memories, before making the significant journey to America. As the fifth and last child, she fondly refers to herself as a "grace child," highlighting the unique love and attention she feels. Bemenet is bilingual, fluently speaking her native language, Amharic, and English, the global language that bridges communication gaps between people in every corner of the world. Life has woven a complex tapestry for her, a fabric marked by both kindness and cruelty, shaped by the choices she made along the way.
